About Us
Delivering results with respect, energy and local knowledge
For over thirty years there has been a real estate business in Mount Pleasant. Richard Inwood is the Principal of Inwood Real Estate and continues to take the real estate tradition in the area forward.
Operating across all areas of the Adelaide Hills including Birdwood, Crafers, Cudlee Creek Kersbrook, Lobethal, Mt Torrens, Stirling and Woodside. As a “lifestyle” property specialist, these areas are a perfect fit for buyers looking for that piece of quality land or a home with peace, tranquility, connected to nature and our wonderful communities. Inwood Real Estate has a large database of buyers (many from interstate) looking for properties.
Richard has an extensive background in agriculture which provides Inwood Real Estate with a natural affinity for both agricultural properties and lifestyle properties. Richard lives on a property at Springton and genuinely knows the area.
However, being a true believer of the value our towns provide to rural communities, Richard is also passionate about helping home owner’s within our townships. A gentle influx of new people into our local towns is a great thing for the community and our local communities!
As we move through 2022 and into 2023, interest rates are moving and will continue to do so. Nonetheless interest rates remain well below the years when we experienced 18%. The opportunity to settle in our communities has never been more appealing.
Real Estate Expertise in the Adelaide Hills
When trusted with managing the sale of your home or property, Richard prides himself on responding to within the hour, and at the very least within the day. With an office in the heart of the Region, being nearby can lead to an immediate response to a potential buyer and a sale that may not have occurred otherwise.
Having lived and worked in the area for 18 years, and personally bought and sold properties over this time, Richard knows the area well – and appreciates the nuances that only a local would know, which does have an impact on a market appraisal;
- Rainfall variances and soil types differ significantly across the region
- Pricing of homes in our townships vary significantly given access to services
- Population, demographics, and local infrastructure
